Chairman Lee Akehurst is an award-winning producer and founder of Independent Film Studios Ltd, Lee launched UK Film Studios as a platform focused on the international sales representation of commercially positioned feature films and TV Projects.

With a background in feature production and market-led packaging, his credits include Dark Rage, Night Call and The Underdog. Alongside production, he has worked internationally on sales strategy, financing structures, and market readiness for independent features.

Lee also leads IFILM Media, overseeing development, packaging, and positioning for sales-driven projects in the global marketplace.

Senior Executive Martin J. Thomas is an English producer, director and screenwriter with experience across independent and studio-level feature productions.

His credits include The Underdog, The Bag, Soho, The Last Seven and Jack Said, alongside major studio productions such as World War Z and Wrath of the Titans.

Martin brings extensive experience across development, production and delivery, with a strong focus on commercially driven storytelling and market-ready feature projects. He is currently developing two new feature films scheduled for production in 2026.

Sales Executive Alison Kathleen Kelly is a filmmaker and award winning writer with over fifteen years' experience in the industry. She has worked as a writer, director and producer on various short and feature films across genres such as sci-fi, fantasy, animation, biopic's and Westerns. Alison approaches filmmaking with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Executive Personal Assistant Rebecca Clark is a British-American filmmaker and award-winning writer with over ten years’ experience in the industry. Her work is driven by a simple goal: to move audiences to make them laugh, cry, and feel something lasting long after the story ends.
